Green Peas with Green Onions |
Recipe Ingredients:
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 bunches green onions
1 pound or so of fresh peas in the pod, or sugar peas
1/2 teaspoon dried dill, or 2-3 tablespoons fresh dill
1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt
freshly ground peppercorns
In sauté pan, heat oil. Slice green onions into 3 inch slices on the
diagonal. Trim off the stem ends of the pea pods. Add onions and peas to
hot oil and stir fry several minutes. Add dill, salt and pepper and
serve immediately.
