Serve over baked potatoes, cooked vegetables, or grilled meats
4 tablespoons olive oil or butter
3-4 cloves garlic, slivered
4 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
2 cups low-fat milk
In batter bowl, heat oil or butter with garlic slivers 2-3 minutes.
Whisk in flour, salt, and pepper. Whisk in milk. Microwave on high 2
minutes. Whisk well. Microwave anther 2-3 minutes, or until thickened,
adding more liquid if needed to make the desired thickness.
