Peel onions and cut into slivers or use the special curly cutter. Place
between paper towels to pat dry. Heat oil in large deep pan, such as a
wok, about 2 inches in depth.
When oil reaches 365 degrees, carefully
lower in onions and cook just until they start to brown nicely Drain on
paper towels and season with salt for serving, if desired. A great
garnish served with sausages, grilled meats, etc.
