Aliza's "Sheva Brachot" Salad
Recipe contributed by Aliza Bulow, Denver, CO
Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 bag (about 16 ounces) frozen French cut green beans, defrosted
  • 1 bag (about 16 ounces) frozen Shoepeg corn (tiny white kernels), defrosted
  • 1 bag (about 16 ounces) frozen baby green peas, defrosted
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • red onion, diced small
  • cup sugar
  • 1/3-1/2 cup white vinegar (to taste)
  • cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon pepper
Colorful and a little different, this salad can be prepared in advance and keeps well for several days.

Great for a three-day Yom Tov.

Combine ingredients and allow to marinade.

*Tip: Recipe makes a lot. Make or less by only defrosting part of a bag of the frozen vegetables at a time.
