Red Strawberry Rhubarb Pie
Serves 8
Recipe Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of fresh or bagged rhubarb
  • 2 cups of fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • c. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch or 1 tbsp. potato starch
  • 1 prepared pie shell

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook rhubarb and strawberries in 1 oz. water on a low flame. Pour off excess water.

Add remaining ingredients and pour into pie shell. Bake for 45 minutes.

Served as a side dish or dessert on Shabbat
