Ingredients:

4 cups plums-
wedged

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 tablespoon lemon juice
Mix plums, sugar, spices and flour and put
in prepared pie shell. Sprinkle with lemon
juice.
Crumb topping:
Mix together by cutting:

1/2 cup flour
-
1/4 cup each white and brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon
-
1/4 cup butter
Sprinkle over top of plums.
Place pie in a clean paper bag (large
grocery bag will work). Bag should cover pie
loosely. Fasten bag with paper clips. Place
on baking sheet and bake one hour at 400
degrees.
Cool slightly, remove from bag and serve
with whipped cream or ice cream. |
