Crust:
- 3 cups
farfel
- 3 eggs
- salt and
pepper to taste
Filling:
- 1 x 7 or
8 ounce can tomato sauce
- 1/4
teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4
teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2
teaspoon oregano (leaf)
- 2 cups
shredded cheese (mozzarella and cheddar,
low fat)
- 1/2 cup
sliced fresh mushrooms
Preheat
oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine
farfel, eggs and seasoning in a bowl and mix
until farfel is thoroughly coated. Spray a
medium sized pizza pan with Pam and then
spread the farfel mixture out on it covering
the entire pan. Bake for 15 minutes until
set and a little crusty. Remove from oven.
Spread the
tomato sauce over the baked crust. Sprinkle
with all the spices. Sprinkle the shredded
cheese on top and top with the sliced
mushrooms. Return to oven for about 10
minutes, or until the cheese has nicely
melted. Cool and serve. |
