Jewish Recipes --> Recipes --> Kosher Meat --> Kosher Turkey

Plum Creek Turkey Breast
Meat
Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 large clove garlic
  • 4 green onions
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups dry white wine
  • 1 (5 to 6 pound) turkey breast

Mince garlic and onion in a food processor. Add remaining ingredients except turkey and blend well. Pour into a large ziplock bag. Add turkey,

seal and turn to coat. Refrigerate overnight, turning bag occasionally.

The following day, remove turkey from marinade and place in a foil pan. Cover with marinade. Cook turkey on a grill until meat thermometer

reaches 170 degrees, about 2 1/2 hours or bake in preheated 325 degree over about 2 1/2 hours. Baste frequently and add water if necessary.

Hint: Double marinade if you wish to have sauce to serve with the turkey.
