- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves, chopped
or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves, chopped
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 3 1/2 pound roasting chicken
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In bowl, combine soup mix, garlic, rosemary
and oil. Rub on outside of chicken.
In a 13 x 9 inch roasting pan, with or
without rack, arrange chicken, breast side
up.
Bake uncovered, basting occasionally for 1
hour 30 minutes minimum or until meat
thermometer inserted in thickest part of the
thigh reaches 180 degrees and chicken is no
longer pink.
