Chicken Knish

 

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • 2 cups Sifted all purpose flour
  • 3 Eggs, well beaten
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 1 tbsp Oil
Mix all ingredients and form into smooth dough and roll it to 1/8 inch thickness

Filling:
  • 1 1/2 cups Ground cooked chicken
  • 3/4 cup Mashed potatoes
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper

Mix all ingredients and spread on dough.

Roll the dough like a jelly roll and press edges together. Place in a pan greased with hot oil and bake in a 350 degree oven until brown and crisp.
