butter

8 ounce cream cheese

2 cups flour

Large jar apricot preserves
-
lemon juice
-
cinnamon and sugar
-
oil
-
nuts; either walnuts or pecans
Mix butter, cream cheese, flour and chill
overnight. Split into 4 balls. Put on
well-floured board. Roll out as thin as
possible.
Brush with oil. Mix apricot preserves, lemon
juice, cinnamon and sugar. Brush on dough.
Sprinkle with nuts. Rollup. Put on cookie
sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees.
After about 10
minutes, take out and slice PART WAY
through. Brush with oil. Bake until brown.
Bake on middle rack and move the rack up
higher if the bottom of the strudel gets too
brown.
