Honey Cake Parve
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup honey
  • 12 ounces coffee
  • cool and add 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Pinch of ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 grated apple

    Beat eggs, add sugar, honey, oil, vanilla. Measure and sift together dry ingredients.

    Add to egg mixture; add coffee, apple, and raisins last. Mix well.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Use loaf pans sprayed with cooking spray. Line with brown paper.
