Salsa Dip for Pita

Recipe Ingredients:
- 2 c
Fresh tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 c
Onion, finely diced
- 1/4 c
Cilantro, finely chopped
- 2 ea
Serrano chilies, finely dice *
- 1 ea
Clove garlic, crushed
- 2 T
Lemon juice
- 1/2 t
Salt

Deveined and
seeds removed (or dice with seeds for a
hotter
salsa).
Serrano is one of the hotter varieties of
chilies. Don't forget
to wear gloves when dicing these peppers.
Mix the diced tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and
chilies. Stir in
the garlic and lemon juice. Salt and toss.
This is commonly
served as a side dish.
Use as a (quick dip) with pita bread. |
