Mock Chopped Liver (pareve) (p. 62)
Recipe Ingredients:
  • 4 medium onions, sautéed
  • 4 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 1 17-oz. can peas, drained
  • 1/2 C. walnuts, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

California Kosher
Blend all ingredients in a food processor or in a chopping bowl by hand. Serve a scoop of the chopped liver on a lettuce leaf.

Yields approximately 3-4 cups.
