Apple Spice Jam

Recipe Ingredients:

5 pounds
apples,
peeled,
cored, and
chopped

2 1/2 C
sugar
-
1 C
Aspen Mulling Spice
-
3
C water
-
2
T lemon
juice
-
Pinch of
salt

Makes 2 1/2 quarts
Place apples, sugar, and
Aspen Mulling Spice in
a saucepan with the water
and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for
30 minutes, until the apples
are soft and transparent.
Place 2 cups of the mixture
in a blender of food
processor and puree until
smooth. Do not
over blend.
Fold the puree into the
reaming apples. Stir
in lemon juice and salt.
Cool.
Divide among sterilized jars
and refrigerate |
