He also teaches us that each plant, grass, vegetable and fruit possesses a unique medical attribute

The Talmud and Midrash note that certain fruits and vegetables look like the parts of the human body. There's a good reason for this, based on the deep wisdom of The Creator

For example, a sliced carrot looks like the human eye with pupil, iris and radiating lines. Carrots are a rich source of Vitamin A, which greatly enhances blood flow to the function of the eyes.


A tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart is red and has four chambers. The lycophen of tomatoes is conducive to a healthy heart and blood system

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Eac grape looks like a blood cell. Grapes play a profound role in cardiovascular and blood vitality

A Walnut looks like a miniature brain, with left and right hemispheres, upper cerebrums and low cerebellums. Even the crevices on the nut resemble the neo-cortex of the brain. Walnuts help develop neuron-transmitters for healthy brain function

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain healthy kidney functioning. Notice how they look exactly like the human kidneys

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries

Grapefruits, Oranges, and other citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breast

Onions look like body cells, Today's research shows that onions help clear waste materials from all the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes

Celery and Rhubarb look just like bones and enhance bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making hem weak. These foods replenish skeletal needs

Avocados and Pears enhance function of the female and look just like these organs. Eating an avocado a week balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and prevents cervical cancers

Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the motility and count of male sperm and help overcome male sterility

The Talmud says that even the sinners of Israel are as full of good deeds as the seeds of a pomegranate. There are exactly 613 commandments in the Torah and exactly 613 seeds in a pomegranate

Rebbe Nachman of Breslev teaches that plants grow by virute of the rains. Rains fall by virtue of Emuna. Therefore, the greater our emuna, the greater shall be our supply of fruits and vegetables
